We have developed a new version of our Supplier Code of Conduct, which aligns with ALPLA's corporate social responsibility expectations. This initiative aims to onboard our suppliers, ensuring they are well-informed about ALPLA’s standards.

Supplier Management Process

To support responsible procurement, ALPLA follows a risk-based supplier management approach supported by a Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programme. The process includes supplier onboarding, self-assessments, risk evaluations, audits and continuous improvement measures. Sustainability considerations are integrated throughout the procurement lifecycle to support transparency, accountability and long-term supplier development.

Our Expectations for Key Suppliers

We work together with our key suppliers to strengthen sustainability performance and improve supply chain transparency. These activities help create meaningful cooperation and support continuous improvement across our supply chain. Depending on the supplier relationship, expectations may include:

  • Acceptance of the ALPLA Supplier Code of Conduct
  • Participation in EcoVadis assessments
  • Support for science-based climate commitments
  • Provision of relevant greenhouse gas emissions data
  • Cooperation in Zero Pellet Loss initiatives
  • Participation in regular supplier evaluations
